TERMS

Thank you for visiting this website. By browsing and using this website you are agreeing to comply with the following Terms and Conditions of use, and the Privacy Policy which govern this website (collectively known as Terms of Sale or ‘TOS’). These terms will apply to any contract between Lucy Cox Knitwear and you for the sale of goods to you. Please read these terms carefully before placing any orders with Lucy Cox Knitwear. Please note that before placing an order you will be asked to agree to these terms. If you refuse to accept these terms you will not be able to order any goods from our site.

We may modify the TOS from time to time and without notice and any changes made after you have placed an order will not affect that order unless we are required to make the change by law.

The use of this website is subject to the following terms of use:

REGISTERING

  • All orders will require you to select to go through a quick and simple registration process. When you use the site you are required to provide information about yourself that is true, accurate and current. Should any of your registration information change, please notify us at the following email address info@lucy-cox.com .
  • Please keep the account password you provide us secure.
  • Please refer to our Privacy Policy for information on how we use your data.

PLACING AN ORDER

  • All orders are subject to acceptance by us and availability. All details you provide us must be true and accurate and you need to be an authorised user of the credit or debit card used to place your order and ensure there are sufficient funds to cover the cost of the goods.
  • You undertake that all goods ordered by you are for your own private and domestic use only and are not for resale.
  • After you place an order you will receive an order confirmation email from us acknowledging we have received an order. This email is not an acceptance of your order, just a confirmation that we have received you order.
  • We will confirm our acceptance of your order to you by sending you an email confirming the goods are to be made to your bespoke order and a further e-mail once the goods are to be dispatched.
  • We reserve the right to not accept your order in our discretion for any reason whatsoever without liability.

PAYMENT

We accept payment online using PayPal. We do not currently have the facility to take payments over the phone. Payments made by cheques may cause delays in delivery as cheques have to be cleared before goods are released.

PRICING

  • Prices shown are in GBP Sterling (£) inclusive of VAT at the applicable rate. All prices and offers remain valid as advertised from time to time. The price of a product displayed on the site at the time the order is placed will be valid except in the case of clear and unmistakable error.
  • If your credit card is not denominated in GBP Sterling (£), the final price will be calculated in accordance with the applicable exchange rate on the day the card issuer processes the transaction.
  • Promotions and promotion codes cannot be used in conjunction with other promotion code or offers unless otherwise stated and are only valid for a limited time. There is no cash alternative.
  • The price of an item does not include delivery charges. Our delivery charges are as advised to you with the acknowledgement of your order.
  • If your delivery is outside of the UK you may have to pay import duties and taxes which may be levied once a shipment reaches your country. It is your responsibility to pay any additional charges for custom fees and clearance and note that customs policies and fees vary from country to country and are outside our control or responsibility.
  • We cannot advise you in advance of any proposed reduction in prices or reimburse you the difference in the event that an item you order is subsequently reduced in price.

PRODUCT IMAGES AND DESCRIPTIONS

While every effort has been made to portray items accurately, slight variations may occur in knitted garments. This is due to the subtle variations in colour and weight of bespoke and limited edition yarns and the manufacturing process, most of which has been produced on manual hand-frames. All measurements are approximate and while we make every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours of our products, computer screens vary in colour brightness and calibration and we cannot guarantee that your display of any colour will be completely accurate.

FAULTY ITEMS

If you receive a faulty item please contact us immediately to arrange return or exchange.

RETURNS

  • We do not offer refunds on bespoke items or sale goods unless the goods are faulty. If you purchase a stock item, you have the right to return your order within 14 days of receiving it as long as it reaches us in the same condition as it was received by you. Products must be returned unworn, unwashed, free of odour and in their original packaging with labels properly attached. To return the item you need to contact us to arrange for the package to be returned.
  • Unless otherwise stated, we will not refund delivery charges if you only cancel part of your order.
  • If you paid for an upgraded delivery we will only refund the cost of standard delivery.
  • Unless otherwise stated we will not refund any delivery charges if you cancel after 14 days.
  • If you are returning your item from outside the UK you are responsible for the cost of returns in accordance with your local postal service.
  • We cannot be held responsible for goods lost in transit.

*Rest of World is currently limited to delivery to the following countries: Canada, Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore, South Korea, USA.

We aim to deliver as soon as possible, subject to stock availability. If you need something in a hurry, please get in touch and let us know and we will do our best to help you.

Purchases delivered within the UK require a signature and may not be shipped to PO boxes. If you are not in when your package is delivered, a card will be left saying the postman has called and you may take the card to your nearest Royal Mail sorting office at your convenience to arrange collection. On occasion the package may be left with a neighbour.

All prices quoted on the website are inclusive of UK VAT at the current rate of 20%. We automatically deduct UK VAT for orders being delivered outside the EU. NOTE: For all deliveries outside the EU you may be liable to pay duty, customs or import duty levied once the package reaches your destination and you will be responsible for this as we have no control over these charges or any delay this may cause and we cannot predict such charges.

EASY FREE RETURNS WITHIN 14 DAYS

We are confident you will love your British-made natural fibre Lucy Cox garment but if for some reason you are not happy with the product then we will happily offer an exchange or refund on items returned within 14 days of receipt so long as it reaches us in the same condition – unworn, unwashed, with tags still in place – as it was received by you. If you wish to return an item please inform us in writing immediately to info@lucy-cox.com stating the invoice number and item you wish to return. Please use the original packaging to send back returns. We will provide a Freepost returns label for you to affix to your parcel and this will cover the cost of return postage in the UK. Take the package to a Post Office. It is very important you obtain proof of postage from the Post Office when you return the package, a receipt noting the postage return postcode will suffice. Please note we closely quality check all returns and will not refund items in a used condition or smelling of fragrance or odour and such items will be returned to you.

If you are outside you will be responsible for return postage costs. You must ensure you have the item insured for postage as we do not take responsibility for refunds of lost items. The package must be clearly addressed to:

Sale Returns Policy

During sales periods we will happily offer an exchange on items returned within 7 days of receipt.

Please allow 21 days for us to process your return. You will receive an email from us to confirm safe receipt of your parcel.

This policy sets out the basis on which any personal data we collect from you, or that you provide to us, will be processed by us. Please read the following carefully to understand our views and practices regarding your personal data and how we will treat it.

When you enter our checkout you are taken to a secure page where you can pay through PayPal. By using a payment provider no credit card information is ever sent to Lucy Cox Knitwear.

INFORMATION WE COLLECT AND HOW WE USE IT

We may collect and process the following data about you:

Personally identifiable information – information you provide by registering on the website; details of transactions you carry out through our site for the fulfillment of your orders; if you contact us, we will keep a record of that correspondence for our own records. We will also contact you by telephone if we have a delivery problem or need to talk to you about your order. We do not like making sales calls!

2. Aggregate Information: When you used our site we may collect tracking information about your computer, operating system, browser type, domain name of your Internet service provider and the pages you visited on the site but this does not identify any individual. We collect this information for aggregate reporting on the use of the website.

We will not pass on your details to third parties for marketing purposes unless you agreed to it. From time to time we may use a third party provider to administer ads on our behalf on other websites. They may collect personally unidentifiable information about your navigation and visit to our website to target advertisements.
